Fall Fishing Derby

Join us on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Sahuarita Lake Park, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Enter one catch for a chance to win a prize! Categories include First Catch, Heaviest Fish, Longest Fish, and Smallest Fish (each category will have a winner from both the 15 and under age division and the 16+ age division). Preregistration or on-site registration is required to enter the contest. There is no fee to register. All participants must provide their own supplies. No watercraft of bodily contact with the lake will be allowed during the event. All participants ages 10+ must have a valid Arizona Fishing License. Anyone 7-10 years old can purchase a youth combo license for only $5. Anyone 18 and older can purchase a short-term, a fishing, or a combo license.
