Our Mission
The Town of Sahuarita Parks & Recreation team is built for the people, by the people of Sahuarita! Our purpose is to create community through people, parks and programs and to provide the public with various recreational opportunities and facilities. We strive to serve the community through events, programs, parks and community spaces.
A Little About Our Parks
Sahuarita Parks & Rec operates eight community parks, including Sahuarita Lake Park, Anamax Park, and North Santa Cruz Park. Our program provides the community with accessible programs and services like Summer Camps for local youth and recreational leagues. Every year we host various events, and they get bigger every year. Our Signature Events include our Sahuarita Stars & Stripes and Fiesta Sahuarita! Finally, we partner with several local organizations to host community services like Town Clean-Ups and Eagle Scout projects.
