German tradition meets Southern Arizona at the lake. Art State Arizona brings an evening of live polka, folk dancing, German and international food, a 17-booth artisan market, and games for every age to Sahuarita Lake Park.
FOOD
Haus of Brats — specialty bratwursts, potato pancakes, German potato salad, sauerkraut, and a kid-friendly frankfurter
Papa's Pretzels — hand-rolled Bavarian soft pretzels
MP Food Productions — scratch-made pelmeni, pirozhki, crepes, brisket and pulled pork
Eatgypt — plant-based Egyptian and German dishes, vegan and gluten-free options
Col. Mustard's Hot Dogs / Mr. Ice Guy — hot dogs, bratwurst, Polish sausage, homemade Italian ice
MUSIC AND PERFORMANCE
Retro Polka 7 — 5:00, 6:40 and 8:10 PM at the Lake Amphitheater
Lajkonik Tucson Polish Folk Ensemble — 6:00 and 7:30 PM at the Lake Amphitheater
Peter Kron, accordion — 5:00 to 8:30 PM on the South Lawn

ARTISAN AND MAKER VILLAGE
Seventeen local artisans with handmade jewelry, ceramics, desert-inspired paintings, jams, spice blends and gifts, alongside community and business exhibitors.
BEER GARDEN
Open to guests 21 and over, with German and Arizona craft selections plus a non-alcoholic Oktoberfest-style option.
GOOD TO KNOW
Leashed pets are welcome. Cash is recommended for faster vendor transactions. The festival is fully outdoors — wear comfortable shoes and bring a layer for the evening.
