Event FAQ's

Event Details

When and where is the event?

  • Winterfest will be taking place on December 13, 2025, from 3:00 - 8:00 PM at Sahuarita Town Hall (375 W Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, AZ 85629)

Is there an admission fee?

  • No. This is a free community event open to the public!

What time does the finale show start?

  • The finale show is scheduled to begin immediately following the tree lighting ceremony near the end of the event. For more information, read the FAQ section and event schedule below.

Parade

Can I participate in the parade?

  • Yes! Parade registration is open for walking and vehicle entries until Dec 1 or until spots are filled. If you'd like to register, click here!

When does the parade start?

  • The parade is scheduled to begin at approximately 6:00 PM

Where will the parade be and how long will it last?

  • The parade will be about a 1.5-mile route around the event space and will be about 45 minutes long. The parade route will head east on Sahuarita Center Way through the event space, south down Desert Gem Lane, west through the church parking lot behind town hall, and then north up Starlight View Lane.

Finale Show - Fireworks & Drone Show

When does the finale show start?

  • The drone show is scheduled to begin at the end of the event, following the tree lighting ceremony.

Where is the best place to watch the drone show?

  • The show is designed for optimal viewing from the event area looking south. We recommend heading slightly north if you are too close to the Town Hall building, as views may be obstructed if too close to the buildings.

Will I be able to view the show from my own home or elsewhere?

  • The best viewing experience will be at Winterfest. The drones may be viewable in nearby neighborhoods, due to height and obstruction of view, we recommend attending Winterfest for the full experience!

Will the finale show be loud?

  • There are fireworks in the finale show, which may be loud to those sensitive to loud sounds. There will also be music accompanying the show.

Parking and Transportation

Where can I park?

  • Event parking will be available at Sahuarita School District lots around Town Hall Complex. For those parking at SUSD lots north of Sahuarita Rd, please use the pedestrian tunnel under Sahuarita Rd for a safer crossing when walking from parking lots to the event.

Is accessible parking available?
